Frederick William "Fred" Schneider III (born July 1, 1951) is an American vocalist, best known as the frontman of the rock band The B-52's, of which he is a founding member. He is also known for his "singing" style, where he primarily uses sprechgesang, a type of singing in which the song is not sung melodically, but rather spoken in rhythm.

Schneider provides the voice of Betty the Bank Teller in "The Blue And The Gray And The Brown".
