Coach Charles McFall was Cleveland Brown's baseball coach at Stoolbend High School. In "Field of Streams", Cleveland decides he wants to start up the school baseball team again and finds his former coach working as a janitor at The Broken Stool for free drinks. He suffers from pronounced oral cancer from years of tobacco chewing (as shown with part of his right cheek missing, though he still chews tobacco, and is apparently homeless.

Coach McFall once lived in New York City, where he was planning on becoming a New York Yankee. While working at the Carnegie Deli‎‎ in "Once Upon a Tyne in New York", he fell in love with Tyne Daly. She invited him to work for her, but his inappropriate behavior forced him to flee. Cleveland brought him back years later, where he was able to convince Tyne to go on one last date with him before angering her again.

He is blown around through Stoolbend during Hurricane Flozell in "The Hurricane". He also appears at The Broken Stool Halloween party in "Nightmare on Grace Street".

Mcfall plays the role of one of the hostages taken by Tim and his group of thieves in "Die Semi-Hard".

In "California Dreamin'", Gina puts together an elaborate production of stand-ins including Coach McFall to convince the Brown family that Cleveland has returned home from Los Angeles and they should do the same.

Notes[]

  • Mike Henry, McFall's voice actor, revealed in the DVD commentary for "Field of Streams" that Charles McFall was named after his own High School baseball coach at Collegiate which is the first team the new Growlers face.
  • He always refers to Cleveland by the nickname that he gave to him while he was in high school: "Hot Brown".
