  • The scene where Donna and Cleveland witness Holt supposedly murdering his mother is a reference to Rear Window. During the scene, Cleveland imitates Ricky Ricardo from I Love Lucy and the scene ends with a bumper for Hart to Hart.
  • Rallo saluting Holt at the end of the episode is an allusion to when John F. Kennedy Jr. saluted the casket carrying his father after he was assassinated in 1963.
  • Cleveland calls Tim "Boo Boo", referring to the Yogi Bear sidekick.
