  • Cleveland driving to Peter's house parodies a scene from Rocky IV when Rocky goes for a drive to clear his head after Apollo's death at the hands of Ivan Drago.
  • The scene at the end where Cleveland starts crying after Peter says "I know deep down in my heart, I still love you" is reference to a scene from the show Intervention that has become phenomenon on YouTube called "Best Cry Ever".[1]
