- When Cleveland covers his face with plastic wrap, Rallo calls him Mr. Carradine, referring to actor David Carradine's suffocation death believed to be due to autoerotic asphyxiation which was ruled an accident.[1] This is the second reference to David Carradine's death following "It's the Great Pancake, Junior Brown".
- When Cleveland Junior gets stuck in the wall, he says "Oh bother," referencing a common catch phrase from Winnie the Pooh.
- Additionally the scene where they get him stuck in a hole and draw a face on his butt references the 1977 short Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree where similar circumstances happens to Pooh.
